View Class Performance

MyDestiny keeps track of your class performance by calculating scores for units and lessons. You can see trend scores for all students and average percentages in real time.

Assess an individual student's progress after each assignment. Then, use the data to shape instruction and enhance student learning.

To view performance for your class:

  1. On the side-bar, under MY CLASSES, select a class.
  2. Click the PERFORMANCE tab. The average trend value for student performance and the average percentage of all class scores appears at the top of the page.

To view an individual student's class performance:

  1. On the side-bar, under MY CLASSES, select a class.
  2. Click the PERFORMANCE tab.
  3. In the Student Class Performance section, find the desired student's class score average.

    Notes:

    • The class score average is based on all of the lessons each student has completed. If each lesson has a quiz, MyDestiny adds up the quiz scores and averages them together to equal the value in the bar chart.
    • Each of the data points on the graph (sparkline chart) below the bar chart represents the date the student completed the quiz. The dates are consistent across all of the students' sparkline charts.

    • A trend score only appears when there is a minimum of two lesson scores.
    • The value next to the sparkline chart is the trend score. A positive trend score is green, and a negative trend score is red.
    • The trend score is the average of all the lesson scores, except the final score. The average lesson score is subtracted from the final score to get the trend score. For example, if the first five lessons averaged out to 80 and the final score was 90, then the trend score is 10.
